Children’s Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 (New International Version)

Sabbath School

The children at Kendalwood are filled with energy, laughter and a great love for Jesus. Our goal is to develop an experience that engages the heart of every child. Sabbath school classes include a wide variety of age appropriate activities such as songs, skits, role playing, story telling, art, crafts, bible study, mission highlights and discussions. They are designed to be interactive and foster a curiosity and love for Jesus. Please note the following age groupings:

  • Beginner Class (Age 0–2)
  • Kindergarten (Age 3–5)
  • Primary (Age 6–9)
  • Junior (Age 10–11)
  • Earliteen (Age 12–13)

Children’s Church

Children's Church is a unique worship experience for children ages 4–12. It is here that children explore Christ’s love for them and His desire for them to be with Him in Heaven through songs, bible stories, puppet plays, skits, and crafts. We are committed to offering a separate "church" for our children once a quarter. For a list of upcoming children’s church dates, click here.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual summer time event. This is a special treat for children ages 4–12 to look forward to. Vacation Bible school meets daily for one week in the evenings from 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Keep your eyes open for upcoming details on this years VBS theme and scheduled date. To register your child online, click here.

Thirteenth Sabbath

Thirteenth Sabbath is an opportunity for our children to showcase to parents and friends what they have learned in Sabbath school. This quarter we will put on a joint skit highlighting each class through music and songs. The children will illustrate how Christ’s first coming as a helpless, tiny babe assures us of the hope of His second coming as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This is an event not to be missed.
